Wills for Heroes: COVID-19 Essential Healthcare Workers

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, McNeelyLaw is offering discounted estate planning assistance to COVID-19 essential healthcare workers who are bravely putting their own safety at risk to serve the public during this health crisis. McNeelyLaw will prepare simple wills, living wills, and powers of attorney for healthcare decisions and financial decisions at a discount to eligible essential healthcare workers.

Am I eligible? To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a licensed healthcare provider (may include, but is not limited to respiratory therapists, pharmacists, doctors, residents/interns/medical students, RNs, LPNs, PAs, CNAs, or technicians) in the State of Indiana;
  • Be a resident of the State of Indiana;
  • Be 18 years of age or older;
  • Have never been declared legally incompetent; and
  • Be an appropriate candidate for a simple will and/or power of attorney for healthcare or financial decisions, as determined through our intake process.

How do I sign up?

Please contact McNeelyLaw by calling 317-825-5110 or by emailing admin@mcneelylaw.com. After initial intake to determine your eligibility, you will be connected with an attorney, and from there, an appointment will be scheduled (in person, telephonic, or virtual) at a mutually convenient time. You will receive a questionnaire to complete in preparation for the appointment. During the appointment, the attorney will walk you through your estate planning documents.
