Mask Mandate Extended in Indiana

Mask Mandate Extended in Indiana

Due to a continuing increase in COVID-19 cases in Indiana, Governor Eric Holcomb has extended the statewide mask mandate for another 30 days. The Order was set to expire on Wednesday, August 26, but will now be reevaluated prior to September 25, 2020.

The Order requires all Hoosiers 8 years or older to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces. With most school districts starting classes, it is expected that all students will have to continue to wear masks for the foreseeable future as well. Indiana will also stay in Stage 4.5 of reopening.
