Lee McNeely has been representing his clients’ best interests for over 50 years. Lee is a skilled trial lawyer, specializing primarily in insurance defense and business litigation, and has set the standard for legal practice in state and federal courts across Indiana.
His skill at advising both corporate and individual clients, as well as insurance companies, has earned him the reputation as a lawyer who consistently negotiates and achieves successful results for his clients. And his skill as a mediator and arbitrator adds another layer to his already successful practice.
Lee has always been active in all aspects his profession, and his abilities have earned him the respect of his peers. Throughout his career, Lee has been selected as president of numerous legal organizations, including the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, and the Indiana Lawyers Commission.
Lee has also been called upon by both the United States District Court and the Indiana Supreme Court to serve as Special Master in resolving highly controversial and complex legal matters.
Additionally, Lee has consistently found time to serve his community. He has guest lectured in employment law at the college level. He has also frequently presented at continuing legal education forums, and was selected by the Indiana Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Court’s Commission on Continuing Legal Education where he eventually served as chairman. Lee has also served as both member and chairman of the Federal Court Merit Selection Committee, responsible for recommending nominees for appointments to the federal bench and U.S. Attorney.
Lee avidly supports his alma mater, Wabash College, including serving as a Trustee of Wabash College and the President of the National Association of Wabash Men. He was selected as Wabash
College “Man of the Year” in 1995.
Lee has received 9 Sagamore of the Wabash awards, most recently in 2021.
