Adopt a Senior Pet Month: Ryan & George

This November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! We’re thrilled to shine a light on Ryan and his loyal companion George, a wonderful example of the joy that senior pets bring into our lives. George, a Sheltie/Lab mix, is 13 years old and has been part of Ryan’s family for nearly a decade. Although George joined the family later in life, his gentle spirit and warm heart quickly made him an irreplaceable part of their lives.

Adopting a senior pet like George brings a unique kind of joy—one filled with wisdom and companionship. Over the years, George has shown his family just how much love older pets have to give. He’s become famous for his love of dressing up, especially when he comes to work with Ryan, proudly wearing a tie. He also enjoys a good picnic, making memories that Ryan and his wife are delighted to share with us in the photos below.
